About
Sandy Cove Bath House came to us years ago, when the former owner was ready to move on to new ventures. The timing couldn’t have been better! Dennis had been crafting recipes and making gentle skin care products for years. His daughter and grand daughter had extremely sensitive skin, and Dennis was determined to give them the best all natural skin care products to care for their skin - products without all the fillers, chemicals, and additives that were found in stores.
Dennis was frustrated by the “all natural” or “herbal” or “sensitive skin” products on the market. Every one that his daughter and grand daughter tried would cause further skin problems for each of them. Upon reading the labels of those “all natural”, “herbal”, “sensitive skin” and other similarly labeled products, he was shocked to find that those words meant nothing in the commercial manufacturing process of skin care companies.
What he came up with, after hours of trial and error was an all natural, additive free, chemical free skin care line that both his daughter and grand daughter could use without reservations - and, more importantly, without causing further damage or problems with their skin.
When Sandy Cove bath house was presented to Dennis & Dorothy, they jumped at the chance to offer this all natural skin care line to the world. Local customers had been experiencing the benefits of their all-natural skin care products, and Dennis & Dorothy knew that you would too.
Today, Dennis is still carefully creating our all natural skin care line in small batches. Dorothy supports him every step of the way, and pitches in with customer service, packaging, shipping, and more. Their daughter, Dee, a holistic health coach who is working on finishing her doctorate in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Naturopathy, also helps out, consulting, testing, and working with Dennis on new products, and selecting the highest quality all natural ingredients.
Dennis & Dorothy Phipps, the owners of Sandy Cove Bath, have been married 48 years and have 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
